›Where is my data stored?
In a SQLite database inside your browser (or the Mac app) — on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you turn on sync, and even then it's your encrypted ledger going to your account, at most four times a day.
›Does it really work offline?
Yes. The app installs as a PWA (or the Mac app) and both the code and your data live locally. Log expenses on a flight; it just works.
›Do I have to link my bank?
No — and you can't, on purpose. Manual quick-add takes three seconds, and CSV import backfills history from any bank statement. No credentials, no third-party aggregators reading your transactions.
›What does $69 actually buy?
